FBI seeks suspect, possible witness in Northfield Village bank robbery

NORTHFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio– The FBI is asking for information after a Northfield Village bank was robbed Monday afternoon.

It happened at about noon at the Citizens Bank at Northfield Road and Rosewood Avenue.

The FBI said a woman passed a note to the teller and fled with cash. No weapon was seen and no one was injured.

The suspect had long black hair with red highlights, and was wearing a black hooded-sweatshirt over a burgundy shirt.

The FBI also released a photo of a man who may have witnessed the robbery. He had short dreadlocks and was wearing a white T-shirt.

Anyone with information should call the Akron Office of the FBI at 330-535-6156 or the Northfield Village Police Department Bureau at 330-469-4368. Tips can remain anonymous and reward money is available.
