Woman abducted from Aultman Hospital parking lot Monday morning

CANTON, OH - A woman walking from her car to Aultman Hospital in Canton was abducted and assaulted early Monday morning.

Captain Jack Angelo, of the Canton Detective Bureau, tells Fox 8 that a female hospital employee was walking to the hospital from a parking lot at 6th Street and Bedford Avenue shortly before 5:30 a.m. when a man with a knife forced her back into her car.

He made her drive away and sexually assaulted her. He then had her drive to a separate location where he got out of the car.

The woman drove herself back to the hospital.

Detectives are investigating the assault and have released a description of the suspect. He is 5'7" tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He is in his late 20's. At the time of the assault, he was wearing a grey hoodie sweatshirt and sunglasses.
