CLEVELAND– Want to watch the Carlos Carrasco/Stephen Strasburg pitching match-up on Wednesday? Slider, M.D. has you covered.

The Cleveland Indians posted a doctor’s note on Facebook on Monday to help Tribe fans ditch work to see the game. The excuse lists “Tribe fever” as the reason and it’s signed by everyone’s favorite pink and yellow mascot.

Carrasco has an ERA of 2.31 with 7 wins and 3 losses, while Strasburg has just one loss and a 2.83 ERA.

The match-up happens at Progressive Field at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday. The first 10,000 fans into the ballpark will get a Cleveland tumbler cup courtesy of University Hospitals.

The Indians are six games ahead of the Detroit Tigers in the American League Central.
