FBI searches for woman who robbed Maple Heights bank

MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio– The FBI is asking for the public’s help identifying a woman it says robbed a bank in Maple Heights Monday afternoon.

It happened at the US Bank on Northfield Road at about 2:35 p.m. According to the FBI, the woman gave a demand note to the teller and said there was an armed man waiting outside the bank.

A witness told investigators the woman got into a gold, four-door sedan with two men. The car was possibly a Toyota Camry, the FBI said.

No one was injured.

The suspect was wearing pink glasses, purple lipstick and red or purple hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Cleveland FBI at 216-522-1400 or the Maple Heights Police Department. Tips can remain anonymous and reward money is available.
