3 protesters face charges after scaling flag poles, hanging banner at Rock Hall

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Charges have been filed against three protesters accused of scaling flag poles and hanging a banner at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Tuesday.

They took to the flagpoles to protest against Hillary Clinton’s stand on fracking and Donald Trump’s stand on immigration. It happened at about 8 a.m.

Police and fire were called to the scene. The banner was removed by firefighters.

The three protesters were charged with criminal mischief and criminal trespassing. They are from Los Angeles, Maryland and Akron.

They will appear in court Wednesday morning. Until then, they’ve been released on personal bond.
