CLEVELAND, Ohio– Four people have been taken to the hospital after a bus shelter collapsed during the parade in downtown Cleveland to honor our Cleveland Cavaliers.

The City of Cleveland said it happened  on the north side of Lakeside by the Free Stamp.

A witness tells FOX 8 that 10-12 people were sitting on top of the shelter when it collapsed. Cleveland police remind people those shelters are not meant to hold people, and ask that you do not get on top of them.

More than one million people are in downtown Cleveland Wednesday for the parade and rally after the Cavs won the NBA Championship Sunday night.
