One hospitalized after stabbing in Strongsville Metropark

STRONGSVILLE, OH – One man is hospitalized after a stabbing in a Strongsville Metropark Thursday night.

The 23-year-old North Olmsted man was in the Mill Stream Run Reservation at around 10 p.m. that evening when he was stabbed in the abdomen. A Metroparks’ spokesman tells Fox 8 that the victim knew his attacker, but that no arrests have been made. The suspect was last seen running from the scene and it isn’t known yet what brought about the stabbing.

The victim was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center and is currently listed in stable condition.

Metroparks’ rangers are continuing an investigation into the incident.
