OAKLAND, Calif. — Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love was knocked out of Game 2 of the NBA Finals with a concussion.

Love experienced dizziness at the start of the second half.

Love took himself out of the game early in the third quarter and went to the locker room.

He was knocked woozy by an inadvertent elbow from Warriors forward Harrison Barnes with just over five minutes to play in the second quarter.

Love lay on the court for several minutes, grabbing the back of his head. Draymond Green scored over him, but after a timeout Love tried to remain in the game.

Love has five points on 2-for-7 shooting in 20 minutes. He has been placed into the NBA’s concussion protocol, and his status for Game 3 on Wednesday night is most unclear.

The Warriors beat the Cavs, 110-77.
