CLEVELAND-Hundreds of Cleveland restaurants and bars will be open until 4 a.m. during the week of the Republican National Convention.

When 50,000 people come to town next month for the convention, Ohio City will be one of many local communities that will be hopping.

Ohio City was named of the ten best places in the world to bar hop by USA Today.

Sam McNulty owns five of some of the most popular bars on West 25 Street.  He told us, " Right now,  2:30 a.m. is last call. During the RNC, we are adding on an hour and a half. So we are only an hour and a half from going around the clock and there are also many people who work 3rd shift or have crazy schedules. This would benefit them."

McNulty's bars are among the 200 some bars that have applied to stay open until 4 a.m. the week of the RNC. He wants to keep the doors open 24 hours, 364 days a year.

The official list of venues that can stay open until 4 a.m. will be released later this month.
