GARFIELD HEIGHTS - James Calvey, 56, didn't even realize he was being watched while he was working.

The problem is, Calvey wasn't supposed to be working because he was receiving disability benefits.

The State of Ohio was notified that Calvey was breaking the law after he was ticketed while towing a car.

Not only was he towing cars, but he was towing them for the Garfield Heights Police Department. Also, he was doing it close to the Workers Comp Investigative Department.

"Well it's pretty brazen that not only was he cheating the system, but cheating the system about 500 feet from the building here in Garfield Heights.

He plead guilty and was ordered to pay back all of the money he accepted.

He told Fox 8 that it was an honest mistake and he didn't realize what he was doing was wrong.
