ASHLAND, Ohio -- A driver was cited after crashing his semi into a home on U.S. Route 250 in Ashland Sunday.

According to the Ashland Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, it happened at just after 1:30 p.m.

The semi, which hit the front of the house, also hit a ditch and a utility pole before overturning. Authorities say the impact was enough to knock the home off its foundation.

No one was in the home at the time of the crash, and no one was hurt.

Jennifer Morano says, she was with her husband and two children Sunday afternoon when they received an urgent phone call from Ohio State Highway Patrol Troopers telling them to return home.

It's the third time in two years that their home has been hit. Also, if the damage is extensive enough, the home may have to be torn down.

The driver was cited for failure to control.
