CLEVELAND – Dawn Jitab of Lorain remembers February 25th like it was yesterday.

“My daughter was waiting for the bus in front of our house and she came back yelling that some guy was chasing her,” said Jitab.

Her daughter was one of three separate attempted abductions of young girls that day.

“I saw him. He was fully covered, head to toe, in black,” said Jitab.

But police never found the guy.

Until the May 21st abduction of a young girl on Cleveland’s West side.

That’s when Lorain Police noticed some similarities.

“Is this the same guy? Quite possibly. The description is the same. With this guy’s mobility and to be involved in our incidents, Elyria, and Cleveland, obviously he is mobile,” said Sgt. Buddy Sivert, with the Lorain Police Department.

Just Friday, the FBI linked the suspect in the Cleveland case to an attempted abduction in Elyria back in February.

It happened the same day as the three incidents in Lorain.

Agents say the suspect tried to pull a 10-year-old girl through her bedroom window.

Meantime, the FBI asks that people continue to look for the man and the car in this surveillance video.

Lorain Police ask people to pay attention to sudden changes in one’s appearance or any work done to a similar car.
