Police chief: 6-year-old injured after shooting in East Cleveland

EAST CLEVELAND – Police say a neighborhood dispute may have led to the shooting that sent a 6-year-old child and an adult to the hospital.

Police Chief Mike Cardilli tells Fox 8 that both victims received “superficial” leg wounds and are expected to recover.

Police said they received multiple calls of shots fired on North Taylor Road.

Police have a 67-year-old man in custody.

A weapon and shell casings were also recovered at the scene.
