CLEVELAND, Ohio- Charges have now been filed against a man who has been in the Cleveland jail under investigation by Homeland Security.

Investigators accuse Ramong Frett of threatening to kill a guard and others at a Social Security office on Shaker Boulevard. Police say he also “threatened four Federal Police Officers…and families of officers…”. Court papers also say Frett spit at officers while being positive for Hepatitis C.

Frett is now charged with Aggravated Menacing, Aggravated Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Arrest.

Investigators are also asking a judge to set a high bond to keep Frett in jail. They say he “expressed verbally if he is released from custody he would kill all officers involved with his arrest as well as all employees at the Shaker Heights Social Security Administration.”

Police arrested Frett on Wednesday.
