Photos: suspects in Maple Heights armed bank robbery sought by police, FBI

MAPLE HEIGHTS, OH – Three suspects are still at large after robbing a Maple Heights bank Monday morning.

Two of the men walked into the Huntington Bank branch on Dunham Road shortly before 11 a.m. One of them ordered all of the bank employees to get on the floor while the other demanded money from a teller’s cash drawer. One of the men was armed with semi-automatic handgun.

After the robbery, the men left the bank and got into a red SUV that was waiting nearby with a driver. That vehicle was found abandoned later and witnesses saw the three men in a white car leaving the area.

The first suspect is  approximately 5’10 – 6’02, and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a black mask over the bottom half of his face.  He was holding a black semi-automatic handgun.

The second suspect is about  5’10 – 6′, and was wearing a dark-colored zip up hooded sweatshirt and a red bandana.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Maple Heights Police Department at 216-662-1234 or the Cleveland Division of the FBI at 216-522-1400.  Tips can remain anonymous and reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individuals responsible for this robbery.
