CLEVELAND - The FOX 8 I TEAM has obtained exclusive video of a shootout outside a local convenience store,  the same area that’s been the scene of deadly gunfire before.

The latest shooting happened Monday night outside the Superior Food Market at East 88th and Superior in Cleveland.

Store security cameras show guns blazing and a man falling after getting shot and wounded.

Back in 2014, a man was shot and killed in the store parking lot when he was hit by gunfire meant for someone else.

The store cameras, in the past, have also captured another incident with a young man stumbling into the store after he’d been robbed and shot at a bus stop right outside.

Frank Salti, a manager at the store, was outside when the latest incident happened. He said, “I saw a group of people on both corners just shooting at each other.” He added, “They’re just young kids. You can see the video, they’re just kids. It’s just dangerous.”

Tough doing business in a battleground. But the store shares its videos with police. And the store is upgrading its camera system with high-definition cameras and more of them.

One customer spoke to us about the people flashing guns on the street. She said, “And it’s like they don’t care. These guys ain’t scared of the police.”

In the latest shooting, the victim was wounded, but not critically. And officers found a handgun. They’re following up on leads.

After the 2014 murder, two men went to prison.
