CLEVELAND - A former Subway employee is recovering after two men robbed the restaurant at gunpoint while she was working alone.
According to police, two armed suspects walked into the Subway on Cleveland's west side. The only employee, a pregnant woman, ran to the back room to hide.
After threatening her at gunpoint, the two men ordered her to empty the register.
Once they left, she called 911.
Coworkers said she was so traumatized that she quit on Wednesday and suffered a miscarriage on Thursday.
"It's sad, it's really sad. I hope somebody does catch them and comes forward and tells on them so she can get some peace with it," said another employee.
