Garfield Heights police seek ID of woman using counterfeit bills

GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio– The Garfield Heights Police Department is hoping to identify a woman suspected of using counterfeit money.

The suspect walked into the Shell gas station on Turney Road at about 6 p.m. on April 7. Police said she bought a pack of cigarettes with a counterfeit $50 bill, which she took from an envelope.

After leaving the gas station, she went north on Turney Road.

Anyone with information on the woman should contact Garfield Heights police at 216-475-1234. Employees should call their local police if she enters your place of business.
