City of Cleveland to promote acting EMS commissioner

CLEVELAND- The FOX 8 I-TEAM has learned the city of Cleveland is going to promote the Acting Commissioner of EMS to the actual head of the division.

Nicole Carlton has served in the “acting” capacity for years.

Multiple sources confirm she is expected to be promoted Friday.

The city’s website says the EMS, or ambulance service, has 265 employees and a $22 million budget.
