Homeowner calls authorities for help with turkey bandit

NORTHFIELD CENTER TWP., Ohio -- The Summit County Sheriff's Office was called to help with a turkey that broke in to a Northfield Center Township home Thursday evening.

It happened at about 6 p.m.

A resident told authorities the turkey entered their residence through a window. The turkey shattered the glass and then ran loose in the home.

Sheriff's deputies found the turkey hiding in the house. It was removed without any injury or further damage to the residence.
