Hailey's aunt contacted Alliance police about a post she saw online. The aunt said the post was asking for money to pay for Hailey's headstone and funeral, but those costs have already been covered.

Hailey's aunt reached out to the woman through Facebook and set up a meeting.

Once they met, the aunt recorded the conversation they had. According to Alliance police, the woman was claiming to be Hailey's grandmother and even pronounced her name incorrectly.

Hailey's aunt told 51-year-old Lisa Dalesandro she was going to the ATM, but instead she called police.

Dalesandro was arrested and charged with once count of theft by deception and is set to appear in court Monday.
