Cleveland Cavaliers clinch playoff spot with win over Orlando Magic

ORLANDO – The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Orlando Magic had a close game Friday night, but the Cavaliers came away with the 109-103 win.

The Cavaliers clinched a playoff spot with Friday’s win.

The Magic kept things close in the first, leading the Cavs 29-27 at the end of the quarter.

The Cavs opened the gap a little in the second quarter, with a 63-54 halftime lead.

The Magic rallied in the third quarter, taking the lead back from the Cavaliers, but that didn’t last long.

The Cavs made it happen in the fourth, jumping ahead of the Magic just enough to take the win. Kyrie Irving lead for the Cavs with 26 points.

This win marks the 14th straight win for the Cavaliers over the Magic.

The Cavs return to the court on Saturday night against the Miami Heat.
