CLEVELAND – A grieving mother is looking for help in solving the murder of her 15-year-old son.

Nalani Brooks, and Cleveland Homicide Detective Tim Entenok, are hoping anyone who knows anything about the shooting death of I’Shauwn Brooks will contact police.

“It’s been a year, and this is really taking a toll on me,” Brooks said.

Her son and his friends went to Burger King after they got out of school. She said school was released earlier that day because of testing.  “They were just eating and hanging out,” Brooks said.

The shooting happened around 2 p.m. March 17, 2015 in the parking lot of the Burger King near Lee and Harvard.

“Please help me,” Brooks said. “I need justice for my son.”   A reward is being offered through Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County for anyone who has information that leads to the arrest or indictment of the person involved.
