CLEVELAND - A grandmother is speaking out to the FOX 8 I TEAM after gunshots came flying into her home right next door to the home where 5 people got shot to death.

The gunfire erupted late Monday night near East 92 and Wade Park. Next door, back in 2014, Cleveland Police say a gunman shot and killed 5 people including a pregnant woman.

Ruby Bell showed us at least two shots came blasting into her home she shares with 3 children and a 7-month old grandchild. The gunfire shattered a bedroom window.

Bell isn’t sure if her home was targeted or hit by stray gunfire. As we’ve seen, the stray gunfire can be deadly.

Bell said, “I’m just hoping we can do a better job coming together as a community to help stop the violence around here.”

Cleveland Police say they questioned one man about the Monday night gunfire. They could not tie him to this incident, but he got arrested on unrelated warrants.
