Allegiant announces new non-stop service from Akron, giving away $1M in free airfare

NORTH CANTON, Ohio — Allegiant Tuesday announced new, nonstop service between Akron-Canton Airport and Orlando, Fla.

The airline is also kicking off its upcoming travel season with a $1 million Summer campaign, pledging to give away $1 million in airfare through the end of the summer. As part of the campaign, the first 22 travelers to book their flights on the new route will get a refund for their round-trip airfare.

The year-round flights between Akron and Orlando will operate twice weekly beginning May 19.

The new route is just one of 22 new routes announced. There are also three new destination cities.
