Man seriously injured in Copley Township hit-and-run crash

COPLEY TOWNSHIP, Ohio– An Akron man is recovering after he was hit by a car in Summit County Sunday morning.

It happened at about 3:19 a.m. on Collier Road near Copley Road in Copley Township. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said a car hit the 44-year-old Ray L. Hubbard and continued driving southbound.

Hubbard was taken to Akron General Medical Center with serious injuries.

The patrol said the suspect’s car was a black 2011 to 2013 Toyota Corolla. It will have damage to the right front headlight, fender and fog light.
