Seiberling Street between Innovation Way/Roundabout and Archwood Avenue in Akron closing Monday

AKRON – Construction in Akron will close Seiberling Street between Innovation Way/Seiberling Street Roundabout and Archwood Avenue starting on Monday.

The closure is expected to last 90 days.

There will be several sewers reconstructed during the closure.

Business and emergency vehicles will be able to access Seiberling Street when necessary.

Entrance to businesses may enter from the roundabout or from Seiberling at Archwood Avenue depending on the location of the work crews at the time.

The detour route will be:

North on Seiberling Street: Triplett Boulevard, Kelly Avenue, Third Avenue and Innovation Way.

South on Seiberling Street: Innovation Way, Third Avenue, Kelly Avenue, and Triplett Boulevard.

Eagle Street to Seiberling Street will need to take Innovation Way, Third Avenue, Kelly Avenue, and Triplett Boulevard.

Traffic from the I-76 Ramp 25A will need to take Innovation Way up through the roundabout and back Innovation Way, Third Avenue, Kelly Avenue, and Triplett Boulevard. There is no left turn from this ramp.
