Man arrested in connection with shooting that killed 7-year-old boy in Columbus

COLUMBUS – An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with the Friday afternoon shooting in Columbus that killed a 7-year-old boy.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, 18-year-old Marctarius Grace fired several shots at a parked car Friday.

One bullet struck 7-year-old Deonte Fisher, who passed away at a local hospital. 19-year-old Rayquan Holloway and a 5-year-old boy were also shot and are currently in stable condition.

Police are still investigating the motive and charges have not been filed.
