Both juveniles knew the shooting suspect, a 14-year-old, brought a weapon into Madison Junior-Senior High School in Middletown, Ohio, but didn't alert authorities, according to Gerhardt. FOX 8 News is not naming the suspect.

Four students were injured in Monday's shooting, including two who were struck by bullets. All four are expected to survive.

The suspect was taken into custody. His attorney denied the charges on Tuesday.
