Cleveland Division of FBI searching for bank robbery suspect

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Division of the FBI is searching for information about the suspect in a bank robbery that happened Friday around 4 p.m.

According to a release, the Citizens Bank at 1215 Superior Avenue was robbed by an man between his 50s and 60s.

He is described to be about 6 feet tall and wore a blue hat, black sweatshirt and gray pants.

Police say the man entered the bank, walked up to the teller with a note and placed a green canvas bag on the counter.

He left on foot with an unknown amount of cash going northbound on 12th Street.
