CLEVELAND – A 60-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Cleveland Saturday evening.

Michael Groves of Cleveland was crossing Lee Road at the intersection of Tarkington Avenue at around 9:50 p.m.  when he was hit by a car.  That car did not stop or even call 911 after hitting Groves.

According to Cleveland police, a 20-year-old male turned himself in Sunday afternoon, but he has not been charged yet.

Police also tell Fox 8 that Groves was not in a marked cross walk at the time of the accident.

Police are continuing their investigation into this incident.
