One dead after shooting at East Cleveland birthday party

EAST CLEVELAND - A man is dead after a shooting at a birthday party in East Cleveland.

It started around 10:30 Saturday evening, when police were called out to the area near 114th and Euclid Avenue because someone heard shots being fired. Police found a car that had been involved in the shooting. That car was discovered to be a stolen car, and the driver was arrested.

Then, shortly after 11 p.m., police were called back out to the area for more shots being fired. That's when  they found a 18-year-old Daniel Ridgeway with gunshot wounds on the sidewalk. He was taken to University Hospitals, where he later died.
