Illegal guns found in Copley marijuana grow operation

COPLEY, Ohio– Deputies found a stockpile of guns and drugs in a Copley home last week.

The Summit County Drug Unit searched a house on South Hametown Road on Friday.

Inside, they discovered marijuana plants, marijuana growing equipment, illegal guns and methamphetamine, the sheriff’s office said. Authorities also seized vehicles.

According to the sheriff’s office, the Copley Fire Department responded to help handle the hazardous substances.

Edward Luke IV, 40, was arrested and charged with one count of marijuana cultivation. He was taken to the Summit County Jail and more charges are pending.
