Denver Broncos defeat Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50

SANTA CLARA – The Denver Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers 24-10 in Super Bowl 50. This is the Broncos third Super Bowl win.

Before the game, the night started off with a bang as Lady Gaga performed the National Anthem.

At the end of the first quarter, the Broncos were ahead of the Panthers 10-0. The Broncos scored on a recovered Panthers fumble; it’s the first Super Bowl touchdown from a fumble recovery in 22 years.

At halftime in Super Bowl 50, the Broncos led the Panthers 13-7. The Broncos also had the longest punt return is Super Bowl history from Jordan Norwood. It was 61 yards.

Halftime was a hit, with Beyonce joining Coldplay and Bruno Mars performing together on stage.

At the end of the third quarter, the Panthers trailed 16-7.

The Panthers kicked a field goal and the Broncos scored once again with just a few minutes left. Scoring a touchdown and getting the 2-point conversion to take the 24-10 lead and the win.
