Cleveland police seek suspect after woman hurt in hit-and-run crash

CLEVELAND-- Police released photos of the suspect in a hit-and-run crash that injured a woman Tuesday afternoon.

The victim was crossing Fulton Road at Clark Avenue shortly before 3 p.m. when she was hit by a car. Cleveland police said the driver pulled into a gas station and hid behind an SUV to check out the scene before she fled.

The 31-year-old victim was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center with serious injuries.

Police said the suspect was driving a maroon Chrysler LHS. Her license plate was covered with snow.
