Chester Avenue reopens two weeks after major water main break

CLEVELAND – Two weeks after a huge water main break, all lanes in all directions are open on East 40th and Chester Avenue in Cleveland.

All repairs have been completed as of Sunday night.

Crews were making repairs to the 48-inch water main. The pipe was made with concrete in 1949, according to the water department.
