Middleburg Heights bar owner indicted on rape, kidnapping charges

PARMA, Ohio– The owner of the Brew Garden in Middleburg Heights was indicted on two counts of rape on Friday.

Patrick Potopsky, 50, was also indicted on one count of kidnapping and three counts of gross sexual imposition, according to Cuyahoga County Common Pleas court records.

Police said the alleged rape happened at a Parma house on Aug. 20. Potopsky was arrested the following month.

According to the indictment, two victims were involved.
