First Cleveland Cavalier, Johnny Johnson, has passed away

CLEVELAND – The very first Cleveland Cavalier, Johnny Johnson, has passed away.

Johnson, 68, passed away in his family home earlier this week, according to Mercury News.

His godson John Herndon said the cause of death was not yet known.

“He just didn’t wake up,” Herndon said.

Johnson played 12 seasons in the NBA . He was drafted seventh overall by Cleveland.
