Diabetic Friendly Recipes: Pan Seared Salmon Over Sauteed Kale

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Deanna Rice is the CEO of a non-profit diabetic education company called 'Da Suga Foundation'. Fox 8's Wayne Dawson found out why Deanna is so passionate about spreading the word about diabetes and he also sampled a couple of diabetic friendly recipes from Chef Dennis Baylor.

PAN SEARED SALMON OVER SAUTEED KALE 

2 Salmon fillets skin off

1 T.  Olive oil

Salt pepper to taste

1 t. red pepper flakes

1 stick of melted butter

¼ cup of brown sugar

SAUTEED KALE

2 cups of kale stems removed

Olive oil

1T. minced garlic

2 T. red wine vinegar

Garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste
