CLEVELAND -- Crews had to remove a vehicle that got wedged under a train car early Monday morning.
An Amtrak train smashed into the car that was stalled on the tracks near Bessemer Avenue and East 87th Street in Cleveland.
Cleveland police said the car ran out of gas.
The driver managed to get out of the car before it was hit, crews at the scene told Fox 8.
A tow truck had to be called in to remove the Chevy Impala from under the train car.
According to Amtrak, the train was was headed to Washington D.C. with about 275 passengers on board.
