MENTOR, Ohio — Authorities have released the identity of a woman who was hit and killed by a semi on Interstate 90 in Mentor Thursday.

The victim is Deana C. Poghen, 47, of Concord Twp.

The westbound lanes of the interstate were shut down for more than four hours after the incident, which happened at around 10:35 a.m.

Authorities say Poghen had pulled off to the side of the road and got out of her vehicle for an unknown reason.

She was then hit by the semi, which was driven by Michelle Bouman, 47, of Columbia Station.

There is no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved, and the incident is still under investigation.
