SANDUSKY, OH  - In September, Cedar Point announced that it would be building the world's fastest, tallest dive coaster named Valravn.

And today, construction crews connected the highest rails on the coaster, topping off the project at its record-setting 223 feet.

When it opens next May, Valravn will be the park's 18th coaster. It promises some heart-stopping moments along its 3415 foot long journey.

Given the warm December we've been having, some fans might argue for opening Cedar Point a bit earlier...and getting Valravn up and running early in the season!
