Amherst man accused in crowbar beating

BERLIN HEIGHTS, Ohio– An Amherst man is facing charges after a crowbar attack in Erie County.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to a house on Burrow Road in Berlin Heights on Friday. The victim had a gash in his head, and there were blood drops throughout the kitchen and living room, according to the police report.

The suspect, 27-year-old Corey A. Graziano, fled before deputies arrived.

Witnesses told the Erie County Sheriff’s Office that¬†Graziano and the victim were arguing before he pulled out the crowbar.

Graziano was later arrested and charged with felonious assault.
