Police investigate break-in at Akron art gallery

AKRON, Ohio– The Akron Police Department released video on Friday of a break-in at an art center.

The suspect got into Summit Artspace through a side entrance on Nov. 29 at about 8 p.m. Akron police said he stole a laptop before fleeing the scene.

Summit Artspace is a non-profit gallery and studio located at the corner of East Market and South Summit streets.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous, according to police. If spotted, please call 911. Anyone with information should contact Det. Welser at 330-375-2490.
