Shawn Johnson, 28, was found hiding under a bed at a house on Lumiere Street at about 10 p.m. He was wanted for felonious assault and aggravated robbery since March 2012.

U.S. Marshals said Johnson and another suspect walked up to a man, who was in a parked car on Wall Street, and demanded cash and the vehicle. Even thought the victim complied, Johnson shot him the stomach.

According to the U.S. Marshals, Johnson was able to avoid capture for so long by changing his appearance and getting a new identity.
