Two home invasion suspects in custody, Ravenna police searching for two additional suspects

RAVENNA, Ohio – Police in Ravenna are still searching for two suspects in a home invasion from early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the 400 block of Jefferson Street for a shooting and home invasion just before 4 a.m.

According to a release, several male suspects entered the home by kicking in a door.

There were three people inside the home at the time the suspects allegedly broke inside.

Police say at least one suspect had a gun and after the invasion, got into a struggle with one of the victims. The gun went off during the struggle and two of the suspects were shot and all four suspects ran away from the home.

The two injured suspects have been taken into custody and are recovering at a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The two other suspects are still on the run.
