Hundreds of students protest, claim district plans to split up their school

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Hundreds of students gathered for a protest Wednesday morning at James Ford Rhodes High School.

They claimed that school leaders are planning to split up their school into smaller schools next year, and they don't want that to happen.

Fox 8 has reached out to the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, which is expected to release a statement on the situation.
