Driver accused in hit-and-run accident in Medina Twp. turns herself in to police

MEDINA, Ohio– Police said a woman accused in a hit-and-run accident saw her car in our story on fox8.com and turned herself in to police.

Police in Medina Township were looking for the driver of a white SUV that hit a bicyclist Tuesday morning at around 8:20 a.m. at Marks Road and Yellowstone Drive.

The man in his 50s was taken to the hospital and was in the intensive care unit Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the woman, who is in her 30s, told them she was not aware she hit anything.  Authorities are looking into whether sun glare made it impossible for her to see.
