Police say shooting suspect may have been targeting Asian community in Ashland

Photos from policeASHLAND, Ohio– Police made two arrests several days after a shooting at a Chinese restaurant in Ashland. The shooting happened on Saturday at Peking Restaurant.

Police said the suspect, Seph Valentine, 32, of Ashland may have been targeting the Asian community in Ashland, as well as other Chinese restaurants.

Steps were taken to alert members of the community, both in the city and also at Ashland University.

Tammy Lunsford, 54, of Perrysville, was also taken into custody. The investigation continues and charges are pending.
