AP poll: Ohio State still 1, Toledo enters rankings at No. 24

COLUMBUS – Ohio State remains on top of The Associated Press college football Top 25 this week while the Toledo Rockets now are ranked for the first time since 2012.

The rankings released Sunday show Toledo coming in at No. 24. The Rockets are off to a 4-0 start with victories over Arkansas and Iowa State. They host Kent State on Saturday.

Ohio State held onto the No. 1 ranking after a close 34-27 victory at Indiana.

The Buckeyes have now been the top-ranked team 101 times, matching Oklahoma for the most in the 79-year history of the media poll.
